I bloomed the day he was born

They said motherhood would rewrite my mind,

that my world would shrink to my baby.

But they were wrong.

Motherhood didn’t make me disappear—

it made me more alive than ever.

It dragged out my strength,

sharpened my resilience,

and rebuilt a woman who finally knows her worth.

I learned to love myself fiercely—

to claim my skin, my body,

every curve, every mark, every story it carries.

I love my child with a depth beyond words…

but I love myself too—

and I will not dim that

truth for anyone.

I bloomed the day he was born

They said motherhood would rewrite my mind, that my world would shrink to my baby. But they were wrong. Motherhood didn’t make me disappear...
